The two largest community forests in England are organising a seminar on specifying and using locally grown timber.
The Mersey and Red Rose Forests have joined forces with TRADA Technology and FIRA to organise the seminar at Walton Hall, Warrington on March 1. Aimed primarily at architects and specifiers, the free event is also targeting decision makers from the furniture and timber processing industries.
Speakers will include architect Patrick Hislop; forestry expert Willie Walker; TRADA’s principal technical consultant Paul Sharphouse and Dr Neil Strong from FIRA
