Despite undergoing major surgery, Mr Collins was determined to get back to work as quickly as possible and back into his training routine, so devised the half marathon challenge to give himself a target to aim at.
“I’m extremely thankful for all the support I received during my illness and wanted to give something back by raising money for Prostate Cancer UK and helping those fighting the disease like myself,” said Mr Collins.
“I’ve raised over £1,000 and counting, so a big thank you to everyone who has donated, such as the staff team at the Gibbs & Dandy Hereford branch.”
