The lunchtime seminars, “Business Planning in a World of Fast-Changing Requirements”, will start in central London on April 26 (noon-3pm).

They will then be held in Manchester on May 3, Bristol on May 24 and Grangemouth on June 5.

The events are designed to enable senior directors and managers in timber-related companies to identify the consequences for their business of changes to Building Regulations and codes.

“Changes to the Building Regulations and the introduction of new codes such as the Code for Sustainable Homes are dramatically changing the market for construction products and materials,” said TRADA‘s Rupert Scott.

Concise information on these matters was key to the timber industry harnessing the opportunities, he added.
