Keynote speakers include Professor Russel Griggs, chairman of the CBI Growing Company Forum in Scotland, Dermott Grimson, Shell International’s head of external affairs and Professor Tim O’Riordan, the Sustainable Development Commission’s commissioner for England.

Delegates will be asked to participate in a pre-conference exercise to set the agenda for a series of workshops. Sessions will examine the impact of the four main issues identified by delegates, in terms of innovation, markets and skills.

Cluster activities are due to transfer from the Scottish Executive to the Confederation of Forest Industries (UK) Ltd in 2008.
