In a post show survey, 99% of the 177 exhibitors who responded to a questionnaire said they were satisfied with their participation in the event, with 85% pledging to return in 2008.
The exhibitors also indicated that they would like the event to remain focused on timber, with no increase in the size of the event.
Of 9,050 trade visitors to the show, 15% came from 70 different countries. Among them was a group of timber buyers from Morocco who were invited by the French Chamber of Commerce. The 469 trade visitors who responded to a questionnaire said they found the event unmissable for the trade. However, many recommended that exhibitors should have an English-speaking person on their stands to maximise on enquiries.
The next Carrefour show will be held in Nantes on May 28-30, 2008
