The Forestry Commission has set up a new committee to help develop woodland cover in London.
The London Regional Advisory Committee is tasked with establishing a new tree and woodland strategy for the capital and will include representatives of all organisations involved in the field to “establish the priorities for action within London’s green space”.
The committee will start work on December 1 and the Forestry Commission is inviting applications for the post of chair.
