Stella-Jones, a leading Canadian producer of pressure-treated industrial wood products, is looking to buy most of the assets of Cambium Group.
The companies have entered into a memorandum of understanding leading to a sale by the end of July. Cambium also produces pressure-treated wood products and recorded sales in excess of C$40m during the last financial year.
Stella-Jones specialises in wooden poles for electrical utilities and telecommunications companies.
