Moushill Contractors (Southern) Ltd, which is celebrating 20 years in business this year, has completed two church contracts.

At Burgess Hill Baptist Church in Sussex it built and equipped a new community hall and kitchen with some 20 oak doors and screens, while at St Bernard’s Catholic Church at Lingfield, Surrey it built a new community room with oak glazed partitions.

A member of the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) the company said church and community hall improvements and extensions are a large part of its work.

Fire doors, screen doors, partitions and windows are all provided from its joinery workshop which works in tandem with the building division.

Director Kevin Ryan said being part of a national organisation such as the BWF gives the company increased credibility and recognition and also helps it keep up with changing legislation including health and safety regulations.
