Two more companies have joined the growing membership list of the British Woodworking Federation‘s Certifire Fire Door & Doorset Scheme.

Hodgson Sealants employs more than 100 people at its Beverley plant, East Yorkshire, where it manufactures Firestrip 30, an intumescent glazing strip which provides 30 minutes fire resistance when used with non-insulating and insulating glass in fire rated doors.

The other new member is Stafford-based Schott Glass Ltd whose products include Pyran S two-hour fire-resistant glass and Pyranova 30-minute insulated fire-resistant glass.

MP Interiors of Harlow, Essex, is currently undergoing appraisal by Certifire as a manufacturer of fire door frames that form a complete doorset when paired with Vicaima‘s certificated fire door leaves.
