The BWF-Certifire fire door performance assurance scheme is being promoted in commercials on the Talksport radio station.

The adverts have been placed by BWF-Certifire Fire Door and Doorset scheme member Alsford Timber. The company is taking a series of 30 second slots, targeting architects and builders and highlighting the importance of installing the right kind of quality-assured fire door.

All Alsford’s branches are BWF Approved Fire Door Centres and the company is also licensed under the BWF-Certifire scheme to cut and glaze “vision panels” in firedoors.

According to managing director John Griffiths the adverts should net “10 million opportunities to hear” over their 13-week run.

“By using radio we’ll get the fire doors message across with real impact,” he said.
