Decorative timber products supplier Richard Burbidge Ltd has decided to return to the UK exhibition scene by attending the Exclusively DIY show next year.

The Oswestry-based company, which has been absent from exhibitions for several years, will exhibit at the show at London’s Business Design Centre in June 2005.

Martyn Whybrow, Burbidge’s marketing and sales director, said: “Exclusively DIY gives us a cost-effective platform from which to address the whole DIY market with our new product launches and will help to keep us focused on making sure we hit the deadline for having everything ready for the show.

“We also like the Exclusively principle of creating a more level playing field for exhibitors and working with them to ensure only genuine buyers, from all types of retail outlets, attend.”

The exhibition, run by the British Hardware and Housewares Manufacturers Association, is the second show to test the Exclusively format. Sister event Exclusively Housewares will be in its fourth successful year in 2005.
