The National Federation of Builders (NFB) has confirmed it is to leave the Construction Confederation.

An NFB spokesperson told TTJ the decision was due to the changing economic climate and because two other members of the confederation had also withdrawn to join the UK Contractors Group.

He said the NFB had given the confederation 12 months’ notice of its intention to leave. This gives the NFB flexibility and time to move forward and look at new ways of working with other organisations.
