The three branches were bought in Stockport, Wallasey and Anfield from Northern Ireland-based builders merchant Murdock Group Ltd.
Wolseley said the branches would stock Build Center’s core timber range alongside a full offering of heavyside and lightside building materials and products.
“The two sites in Wallasey and Stockport will fill important gaps in Build Center’s national coverage,” said Gordon MacDonald, Build Center brand director.
“The new Anfield site will increase our representation in Liverpool to five branches, giving Wolseley a strong presence in the city.”
