Former Timbmet employees Nick Hughes, David Johnson, and Kenny Entwistle have joined Brooks Bros (UK) Ltd and will be based at the company’s Skelmersdale site in Lancashire. Mr Hughes takes the group role of bulk sales manager for UK and Ireland; his appointment coincides with the opening of a dedicated bulk trading division which he will head up for the company.
Mr Johnson takes the position of assistant general manager while Mr Entwistle will be responsible for internal sales in north-west England.
“Brooks Bros (UK) is delighted to have simultaneously appointed three senior timber traders, bringing a wealth of experience and business contacts to the company,” said group sales and marketing director Mark Fleming.
