A free one-day presentation on upgrading and adding value to British-grown timber is being organised by BRE.
Due to take place on February 12 at the National Forest Visitor Centre at Moira, Derbyshire, the event will cover the value of under-utilised hardwoods, the quality of British-grown softwoods, new techniques and technologies for innovative processing and jointing, and the timber supply and use chain.
Anyone with an interest in growing, processing, supplying, purchasing, specifying or using British timber can attend and will have an opportunity to quiz experts from the BRE Centre for Timber Technology and Construction.
