A series of seminars is planned by BRE to unravel the mysteries of changing Building Regulations and new product standards.
Tom Harvey of BRE said the seminars would “demystify” the new European product standards and Eurocodes and explain how they related to UK Building Regulations. They will also discuss the requirements of the European technical specifications, including where to find them and how they have been developed.
The CE marking of products and the role of notified bodies and laboratories would be explained, along with information on how the new European products standards relating to the CE mark.
The seminars, titled “Meeting the new building Regulations – changes in product standards and how they will affect your business”, will be held at BRE Watford on February 12, Salford on February 25, Glasgow on March 17 and BRE Watford on April 8.
