More than 20,000 people attended the 7th Machinery, Furniture and Timber Products Fair, held in Belém, Brazil.
Organised by the Industry Association of Wood Exporters of the Pará State, the Brazilian Association for Mechanically Processed Timber and the Pará State Industry Federation, the fair focused on exchange rates, the Chinese market, public policies, forest management and other topics related to the sectors.
The event also featured 150 exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and services on offer for the manufacture of flooring, decks, doors, windows, panels, plywood and veneer.
The fair took place alongside the 7th International Conference on Plywood and Tropical Timber, while three publications on Amazon forest management were launched.
