Boise Cascade has extended it presence north by relocating its engineered wood products office from Oxfordshire to Chirk on the Welsh Borders.
Boise, which produces the Simple Framing System range of engineered wood products including BCIJoists, Alljoists and Versa-lam beams, is retaining is Alton-based southern sales operations and engineering support office.
“With increasing business activities across the country, it became appropriate to extend our presence further north,” said Simon Jones, Boise business development director.
He said the move helped Boise put the right people in the right place to ensure service and support for customers.
“Whilst competitive provision will remain essential, the power to deliver the right product with the right service will prove of greater importance for the market as it evolves,” he said.
