The company is controlled by private equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners IV and Boise management (80%), with OfficeMax having a 20% stake.
The timing and price of the offering have not yet been determined. Boise Cascade manufactures I-joists for floors, walls and roofs, LVL, as well as plywood, chipboard and lumber products.
