Boise Cascade has appointed Crown Timber plc as its UK and Ireland wholesale distributor to help expand customers’ access to Boise engineered wood products.
Boise said Cirencester-based Crown’s wholsesale distribution and import facilities would complement Boise’s existing retail distribution product supply chain.
Crown chief executive Stuart McIntyre said: “We are delighted to be working with Boise. The strong emphasis on product and software design, and on customer service within their firm, will fit perfectly alongside our other product suppliers and will allow us to put a unique and outstanding structural products supply package to our customers.”
Crown, which operates from four distribution terminals in England, Scotland and Ireland, specialises in the supply of planed strength-graded structural timber to roof truss and timber frame manufacturers, plus merchants.
