Transport First is a subscription service available to all BMF members and has been designed to offer a tailored response to each company in order to help them get the most out of their vehicle fleets.
In addition, BMF has said that Transport First will help companies avoid the pitfalls of not maintaining and running their fleets properly, including safety and costs.
“BMF Transport First will ensure our members’ vehicle operations comply with ever more onerous road transport regulations, drivers’ employment legislation and health and safety requirements,” said Peter Matthews, The Federation’s secretary.
“The service will also ensure you are operating your vehicles efficiently in order to reduce costs.”
Mr Matthews added that Transport First is already being used by two companies who are making use of the organisational and hands-on services on offer.
