The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has expanded its training department with the appointment of a new team.

Nina Royle joins as manager – BMF training. She was previously apprentice academy co-ordinator at Brooklands College in Surrey, where she was responsible for improving the quality and success rates of apprenticeship courses in engineering, aerospace, motor vehicle and catering. Having worked in training for 12 years, with four different providers, she has a wealth of experience spanning the customer service, retail, warehousing, and administration and management sectors.

Frances Greene, who has been with the BMF for six years, has been promoted to manager – commercial training.

Nick Thomas has joined the federation as co-ordinator – BMF commercial training. He previously spent five years with the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board where he worked across a number of positions including apprenticeship administration and account management. He was responsible for organising training programmes and monitoring the progress of learners.
