Antony Sherriff has joined the Hull team, while Joe Cooper has joined the Rotherham branch.
Within the last three years the company has had four candidates complete apprenticeships, of which three have successfully attained full time roles within the BMCo family, the other leaving to continue work within the construction industry.
“We are very proud of the work we are doing to try and attract people to join the merchant industry and to help these young people achieve their goals and develop a career path for themselves,” said Duncan Thomson, managing director.
This ongoing development is supported by the recent launch of a graduate programme and plans are in place to continue to support the development of staff within the company and the industry.
