The latter is the standard requried for the government’s Green Deal to improve housing energy efficiency, so BM TRADA is ready to tap into the market when the initiative is launched.
The company says that, together with its Q-Mark Survey for windows and doorset installation, and other related accreditations, this latest development enables it to provide an installers certification "one-stop shop".
"We’re already experiencing strong interest in our Q-Mark survey and installation scheme, which provides installers with an immediate advantage over competitors," said Simon Beer BM TRADA product certification manager. "UKAS accreditation enables us to go one step further and provide full certification to PAS 2030."
