The development of wood based products is being driven by global awareness of the need to preserve timber resources, according to BLP Architectural Mouldings.
Barry Berman, sales and marketing director of the Doncaster-based business, said: “Conservation and environmental concerns for the world’s depleting forestry resources have made our customers far more aware of the need to buy timber products responsibly.”
He said the use of veneer wrapped MDF mouldings, such as those manufactured by BLP, dramatically cut down on the volume of solid wood required within a project.
