Blackstar will finance and facilitate a variety of Yorkcor staff and community trusts. Yorkcor owns forests, sawmills, manufacturing plants and also has warehousing and sales division.
In a statement, Blackstar said the company was “strategically well placed to exploit infrastructure and development investment underway in South Africa, particularly given its efficient, low cost business model”.
