Biesse Group Canada has enlarged its company in Terrebonne by 47,000ft2 in a C$4m investment.
The company says the expansion project will allow it to keep up with ongoing demand from the market.
The most important element of the investment is a showroom where customers will be able to see demonstrations and also test machines.
Biesse Group Canada, which currently employs 35 people, will see numbers grow to 53 employees.
As well as the 35,000ft2 showroom, the investment includes a training centre, spare parts department and a technical support centre using state-of-the-art technology.
