Biesse UK has appointed Paul Jennings as joinery process manager.
Mr Jennings was previously sales manager for solid wood machinery at SCM and has wide experience as an industrial engineer and production manager, achieving particular success, says Biesse, in sales of CNC machine centres for windows and doors. He served his apprenticeship as a wood machinist .
Biesse says Mr Jennings’ appointment forms part of its strategy to “present high-tech solutions” that cut customers’ production costs while maintaining quality.
The company has been developing a range of machines specifically tailored to the requirements of the joinery industry, offering greater efficiency and economy.
In line with this new commitment, a new “sales net” is being formed, with Paul Nightingale already in place covering Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
