British Columbia has signed a forestry agreement with the Kitkatla First Nation, giving the people access to 375,000m3 of timber and C$3.98m in revenue sharing.
The Kitkatla have announced their plans to explore certification of their forest operations which they said will bring jobs, skills and new economic opportunities to their communities.
