The company has teamed up with design consultancy Breathe to offer eco-friendly housing in the UK.
“It is our aim to provide a unique solution to the current self-build housing market frustrations which include fragmented and lengthy building processes,” said Baufritz (UK) Ltd managing director Oliver Rehm.
“We feel this is is an excellent opportunity having recognised the potential here.”
The company is in the process of recruiting sales personnel to staff the UK office, situated at Breathe.
Baufritz, which can trace its roots back to 1896, will promote its houses with an ecological, healthy living focus, tapping into consumers’ growing environmental concerns.
The basic cost of a Baufritz home starts from £250,000 and includes every aspect of the build process, apart from plot purchase.
