TV celebrity Tommy Walsh was guest of honour at Batsford Timber Ltd’s open day last month.
Based at The Sawmill at Longleat, the company manufactures fencing materials for stockists, contractors and end users.
Managing director Bob Clark said that Mr Walsh confessed to a passion for pressure treated softwood from managed renewable sources, and added: “This mirrors precisely our own commitment to the environment.”
