George Barnsdale & Sons has taken part in a major refurbishment of the old Co-operative building in Nottingham.

The timber window manufacturer supplied 35 sliding sash windows, four arched screens and six large rectangular screens for the building.

All windows were produced to match existing styles using hardwood, with the Sikkens paint system on the units registered with the Sentinel Plus scheme.

Barnsdale said good communication was required with the main contractor as sealed units measured up to 6m².
