The winners of Rowlinson Timber Ltd’s Baltic states competition have returned from their prize trip to the Baltics.
Robert Shann from Websters Ltd and Chris Peebles of P&P Timber enjoyed a week-long trip where they were give an overview of the forest products sector.
Mr Shann said the trip had given him a complete picture of the industry, from logging to planing of timber and kiln drying. He also said it had provided a window on the supply problems affecting the region.
The competition, run in the May 26/June 2 edition of TTJ, was open to those placing timber treatment orders with Rowlinson Timber.
