America’s first college to offer a baccalaureate degree in the building arts has opened in South Carolina.
The American College of Building Arts will teach traditional techniques including blacksmithing, finish carpentry and timber framing.
College president David AvRutick said: “We are doing something that no-one in America has ever done.”
