The company went into receivership in May with the loss of 35 jobs. Australia’s Wilderness Society said the cause was loss of subsidies that put it in direct competition with plantation timber. A fire destroyed the offices soon after.
An estate agent said: “Unfortunately, the way the timber business has gone and the decline in the timber industry in the area, it limits the market.
“Ideally with the sheds, perhaps two or three contractors can get together and buy the site to store their machinery and use it for mechanical repair.”
