Hardwood importer and merchant Atkins & Cripps Ltd has bought West Yorkshire timber merchant J Bland & Co (Timber Merchants) Ltd.
Managing director of Atkins & Cripps Duncan Marriott said: ‘Expanding our geographic base in this way permits us to drive forward our programme to improve customer service and to extend our range of timber products and services.’
J Bland & Co will be a subsidiary of Atkins & Cripps and will be managed by James Hopper, who has been appointed its commercial director.
Atkins & Cripps is based at Bishop’s Stortford and has branches in Saltash, Cornwall, and Bilston, West Midlands.
