Arnold Laver has transformed its Chesterfield Road DIY store, Sheffield, into a temporary call collect depot while development work progresses on other Sheffield sites.
New stock, signs and computer systems were brought in overnight to reduce disruption.
The depot will operate until March 2002, when a new purpose-built call collect centre will open in Bramall Lane.
Laver’s Queens Road site is being redeveloped and the new national production and call collect centres at Holbrook are currently being built.
