The UK’s first eco-theme park is being constructed with timber from Arnold Laver Timber World.

The merchant’s Mosborough branch has supplied more than £8,000-worth of graded construction timber for Gulliver’s Eco Park in Milton Keynes.

A range of long length timbers are being used for building frames in the park’s four environmentally-friendly themed zones, including a “bone yard” featuring a fossil identification area.

Duncan Phillips, director of development and design for Gulliver’s Theme Parks Group, said: “The whole idea of the new park is to promote environmentally-friendly themes through educational and fun experiences – so it’s vital that the building timbers we are using on site reflect this green concept.”
