Architects and interior designers showed interest in timber flooring, especially antique heart pine, and other wood products at the first Residential Design 2005 show in Boston.

The Southern Pine Council‘s stand saw “steady traffic” during the two-day event, with southern pine finger-jointed studs, interior cladding and decking also proving popular.

The council, which has already booked up for next year’s show, distributed its Southern Pine Flooring Guide and fielded numerous questions from visitors.

Residential Design attracted 6,000 architects, interior designers, builders and other industry professionals.
