Students from Asia, Europe and the Americas put together projects on the overall theme of “Light of Tomorrow”, which explores daylight in architecture.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony at Bilbao’s Guggenheim Muesum on October 23.
The awards, which has a total prize money of €30,000, is part of the Danish window manufacturer’s continuous effort to establish close relations with building professionals, particularly architects and educational institutions.
All Velux roof windows feature a timber core and the majority are made solely from wood.
