Arch Timber Protection staff will be taking part in this year’s Tree-Athlon to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Tanalith E in the UK.

The 5km run, to be held at Temple Newsam in Leeds on September 27, aims to promote the benefit of trees in the urban landscape.

Temple Newsam is one of three Tree-Athlon events to be held in the UK, the others being in London and Manchester. The 13 members of the Arch team, including runners from sales and marketing, accounts and supply chain, will all run to raise money for Trees for Cities.

Last year nearly 500 Tree-Athletes gathered at the Leeds starting line to help make their city greener. A similar number of tree enthusiasts cheered on the runners and took part in fun activities.
