American white oak has been used extensively for furniture, flooring and joinery throughout the refurbishment of Ickworth House in Suffolk.
The National Trust has just opened its new conference facilities for weddings and events at the Georgian property.
Hopkins Architects specified American white oak throughout the project, and bespoke furniture designer/makers Luke Hughes & Co designed and installed a new reception unit and entrance furniture, also in American white oak.
