Alsford Timber is joining in Demelza’s “Go Dotty” campaign from May 18-25 to help raise money for the children’s hospice.
The timber merchant will hold events such as cake sales, games, raffles and a dress dotty day. During the week branches will also sell Demelza wristbands for £1.
Staff and customers also have the opportunity to “sponsor a dot” on an Alsford lorry. A minimum donation of £5 gets your name, or the name of a family member of pet, on a dot. The deadline for printing the names is Monday, May 14.
In the week prior to the campaign, some staff from Alsford’s branch in Ness Road, Erith, will have climbed Snowdon and completed a triathlon to help the charity.
