Alsford Timber has been awarded ‘Investors in People’ accreditation at its first attempt.

The company says every member of staff contributed to winning the award – an independent recognition of high standards of training, communication and development.

Meanwhile, in a bid to reach more retail customers, the company is sending

1.1 million copies of its second newsletter out through local newspaper across London and the south east.

The first newsletter was sent solely to trade customers who, the company felt, were not aware of the full range of products and services Alsford offered.

The company has also launched a web site at www.alsfordtimber.com.
