A maintenance project at North Kesteven district council resulted in a hat trick for Akzo Nobel Woodcare.

When the offices were built 11 years ago Akzo Nobel’s Sadolin and Sikkens products were specified. A refurbishment five years later led to further application of the products.

The recent third application made use of the products on all the joinery detailing around the roof area, including the fascias, gallows brackets, exposed rafter feet and trusses.

The council’s quantity surveyor Ian Spreadborough said: “When the work was carried out this time there were only three minor joinery repairs required. The Akzo Nobel Woodcare range has fulfilled its purpose of protecting the joinery elements of the building for over 11 years.”
