Oak panels supported on adjustable pedestals and stringers make up the flooring at an office refurbishment in London’s West End.
The panels were sourced and supplied by Advanced Ergonomic Technologies (AET), an underfloor air conditioning company based in East Grinstead.
AET has installed its Flexible Space System covering more than 1,500m2 on four floors of the building.
The system uses the plenum under the building’s raised access floor as a duct in itself, ensuring that air-conditioning could be provided with minimum impact on the floor to ceiling height.
The system’s air-conditioning fan tile units can be interchanged with the floor panels, allowing easy reconfiguration to accommodate any layout changes future tenants may wish to make.
