For the past three years, as the operations director for IBMG’s roofing division in the south, Mr Tansley has overseen the smooth integration of Roofing Gear’s three branches; Independent Roofing Supplies’ three branches and MS Roofing’s five branches into the IBMG portfolio. A roofing veteran of 40 years, he is credited with being instrumental in the roofing division’s growth in recent years.
He is preceded in the post by Danny Spokes, who is now divisional managing director for IBMG’s south-west build division.
“Adrian has ambitious plans for the roofing division, while also remaining pragmatic in his approach,” said Allun Pittingale, chief operating officer of IBMG. “He is highly regarded by branch managers throughout the IBMG branch network, respected by the senior team, and passionate about this business and its people.
