ABP, which operates the Port of Swansea, is one of a number of partners of Swansea Futures, which aims to improve perceptions of the city as a place to invest, live, study and work.
ABP’s premier partner status will allow it space on Swansea Futures’ website as well as in regular newsletters. The company will also have access to detailed market research facilities and invitations to specific profile events and other business development opportunities.
The Port of Swansea handled more than 370,000 tonnes of cargo in the first six months of 2006. ABP recently completed a £1.7m investment to extend RKL Plywood (UK) Ltd‘s forest products terminal and build the company’s new UK headquarters at the port.
