More than 100 companies with an annual turnover in excess of £57bn have signed up for the WWF 95+ Group’s 10th anniversary celebrations in London on November 23.
Members of the group buy around 20% of all wood used in the UK, purchased from more than 80 countries.
Environment minister Michael Meacher will be the keynote speaker. Other confirmed speakers include Paul Hinkin, director of Chetwood Associates Ltd, the Architectural Practice of the year 2000; Dr Craig Mackenzie, director of Friends Ivory and Sime, Europe’s leading socially responsible investment fund manager; and Dr Alan Knight, head of corporate social responsibility at Kingfisher plc.
