A timber carrying vessel operated by TTS Shipping Ltd has completed its 100th voyage to the Port of Hull.

The mv Angermanland, owned by Navalis Shipping GmbH & Co, reached the century at Alexandra Dock on April 16.

The ship’s master Captain Jan Szafranski was presented with a commemorative plaque by Associated British Ports‘ Hull dock master Darran Rogers to mark the occasion.

Barrie Holt, director of Melton Mowbray-based TTS Shipping, said: “We are delighted to reach this landmark with Angermanland. She has now carried in excess of 550,000mM3 of timber products into Hull.”

The service started in 1991and carries mainly forest products from the northern Finnish port of Rahja.
